Also important is knowing how to convert teaspoons to milliliters. The following is a brief guide:

Teaspoon = tsp; milliliters = ml; tablespoon = tbsp

• 1 tsp = 5 ml = 5 cc = 1/3 tbsp
• 1/2 tsp = 2.5 ml = 2.5 cc
• 1 1/2 tsp = 7.5 ml = 7.5 cc = 1/2 tbsp
• 3 tsp = 15 ml = 1 tbsp = 1/2 ounce
